Menu for the day

The drinks that I had during the event. Because I do not drink, I opted for mocktails and requested the cocktails to be made virgin instead.

Cream-Delite & Hydro Boost. The Hydro Boost cocktail was created specially for the event!

Litchee. This is horrbly sweet, perhaps because of the exclusion of liquor.

Tzu-na-mi. Aptly named because you have to stir this drink to mix it all up else it will just settle at the bottom.
Dinner was served during the presentation of
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate.

Had hokkaido corn chowder & vine ripened tomato salad with pan seared haloumi, watercress herb salad and lemon caper dressing for starters.

The soup was alright, but I thought the salad was very nicely done.
Halfway throughtout the presentation and the dinner, we were all served with the
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate on a plate! I mean seriously, how cute is that!
We were given 3 choices for our mains and I chose the oven roasted miso cod with minted pea puree.

This was SO GOOD! I mean really, it was SO GOOD! Yes, the capslock is required and I am not exaggerating! The fillet slab was thick, fresh and juicy and everything just complemented each other. It also has a lot of rave reviews on
HungryGoWhere.
Warm milk chocolate tart with raspberry jam and butterscotch ice-cream was served for desserts after the main course.

The butterscotch ice-cream was really good! Not so much of a fan of the tart though. Perhaps I'm already too full to appreciate it.
After dinner, we had the chance to try out all the products from
Neutrogena Hydro Boost range!

It was a well executed event and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thank you Neutrogena, Cosmopolitan Singapore and Dianah from the PR company for organising this event!

Here's the products that I brought back home from the event!

I got the
Neutrogena Wave Duo Starter Kit because I answered some questions during the Q&A session. I have already reviewed the
Neutrogena Wave Duo Starter Kit here.
Everyone got a little something during the lucky draw and I got the
Hydro Boost Water Gel,
Hydro Boost Roll On &
Hydro Boost Mask set. I got extras of the
Hydro Boost Water Gel & Hydro Boost Roll On through ice-breaker games.
I have previously reviewed the water gel and the mask before and my reviews on the two products can be found
here.
Another product that I brought back was the product that was launched during the event and it is
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I have tested the
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate for close to 3 weeks now and here's my review on the product. I'll also be doing a comparison with Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel and see how both of them fare against each other.

Here's a little information on the latest product;
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate is specially formulated with
Neutrogena’s smart Progressive Release System, which actively seeks out dry skin cells to replenish moisture in them throughout the night. As skin cells renew at night, the Hyaluronic Acid, Olive Extract and Ionic Mineral Complex help to make the most out of the cell regeneration process, therefore boosting the skin’s renewal capacity so that you wake up to an amazingly hydrated, soft and supple skin in the morning.
Before sleep, massage evenly over face and neck after moisturiser and rinse off the next morning. Recommended to be used twice a week, although also suitable for daily use.
I use it as recommended, twice a week for three weeks. I think three weeks is ample time enough to give this product a fair assessment. I did not breakout from the product after three week's of usage (good) and my skin did feel very hydrated in the morning on days that I use this product before I sleep (good). However, what I do not quite like is that it stings my face during application (not so good). I don't exactly know what cause the stinging, perhaps caused by one of the ingredients in the product.
Here's the list of ingredients in
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate.Water, glycerin, dimethicone, cetearyl olivate, polyacrylamide, sorbitan olivate, dimethicone/vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer, dimethiconol, ethylhexylglycerin, synthetic beeswax, c13-14 isoparaffin, benzyl alcohol, butylene glycol, chlorphenesin, trehalose, dimethicone crosspolymer, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, laureth-7, mannitol, carbomer, sodium hyaluronate, microcrystalline cellulose, c12-14 pareth-12, sodium hydroxide, fragrance, Cl77289, portulaca oleracea extract, tocopheryl acetate, magnesium aspartate, zinc gluconate, copper gluconate, Cl 42090
Apart from the stinging sensation experienced, I do not have any other qualms about the product. It does what it claims; to give the skin the much needed hydration and it delivers the results of a well hydrated skin.

I did compare it with
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel which claims to restore skin’s moisture levels by more than 200%, providing not only immediate replenishment but also hydration that lasts up to 12 hours, for soft, supple skin with a healthy glow.

Featuring Neutrogena’s innovative Progressive Release System,
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel not only releases moisture steadily into skin for continuous all-day hydration but also addresses the root causes of inner skin dryness. Combining advanced hydrating elements that replenish and repair skin from within, Hydro Boost protects skin from the damaging effects of air-conditioning, late nights and the harsh rays of the sun, resulting in smoother, supple skin.
The unique Hydro Boost formulation contains highly purified hyaluronic acid, which absorbs up to 1,000 times its weight in water and releases it into skin steadily over time, and olive extract, derived from highly purified olive oil, which effectively rebuilds skin’s natural moisture shield, preventing moisture loss. Dermatologist tested, its oil-free and non-comedogenic formulation is also instantly absorbed into the skin and hydrates with a non-greasy feel.
Massage evenly over face and neck every morning and night, after clear lotion or essence.
On days that I do not use the
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate, I'll use the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel. The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel feels much lighter on the skin and it is not as thick as the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate. Here's a comparison of the viscosity of the two product.

After spreading the product, you can see that the
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel spreads thinly while the
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate has a much thicker texture and is pretty hard to spread. I also find that the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel absorbs into the skin much faster than the
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate. Also, the
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel did not sting my face unlike the
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate. Hydration wise, there's definitely a significant difference between the two and Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate did a much better job in hydrating my skin.
If you are interested to try the products out, Neutrogena Hydro Boost range is available at all leading personal stores and pharmacies.
The retail price for Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel is S$20.90 whereas for Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate it retails for S$25.90. All
Neutrogena Hydro Boost products are non-comedogenic, oil-free, alcohol-free and dermatologist-tested.
