Uploaded the picture a few days back on Facebook and Twitter and it did generate some likes and comments by my friends (FB)/followers (Twitter). From the comments that I have gathered, everyone seemed to love it and said that it was refreshing to see me sporting a shorter hair-do.
So, here's the thing. I have a confession to make. I did not exactly cut my long hair short, but I did make my long hair short. If that even makes sense. So sorry for having to trick all of you girls and guys into thinking that I did chop my long hair off! I so did not!
Anyways, since the cat is let out of the bag, here's the tutorial that I followed to create the above look, and I hope you find this informative.
The main reason as to why I did not let out the secret earlier is because I want to see how people would react after I posted the picture of me sporting a shorter hair-do. Would they buy it, or not? Letting the secret out earlier would totally spoil the element of surprise. Guess what? No one actually thought I was hiding any hair underneath whatsoever, so I guess this look is pretty believeable and natural, and you can totally wear this look out! It works best on layered hair though, if you want it to look as believeable and as natural as possible. Have fun!
I might just chop it off for real though, since everyone said it suited me, somehow. We shall see, will keep you guys posted!
