Attended the sale last year, most of the items are heavily discounted (up to 80% off) and it is a sale definitely worth going. Last year, Fir and I bought Salvatore Ferragamo, Bvlgari, David Davidoff etc perfumes for ourselves. I also got some Guerlain, Lancaster & YSL makeup for myself too. I will be going again this year, that's for sure. :)

Here's my personal thoughts on each of the individual product after testing them out for a week or so.

Step 1: Amethystory Mineral Aqua Gel (Exfoliator)

SGD$24.90 - 150ml

This is the Star Product in the Amethystory skincare range. It removes dead skin gently and effectively and it can be used on the face and the body.

Pour some Amethystory Mineral Aqua Gel on your palm and rub it gently on the face. The key is to rub it really gently because it is an exfoliator after all and you don't want to rub it too hard, else it will be too harsh on your skin. Soon, white flakes will form on the skin's surface. The white flakes is the dead skin.

My skin feels really smooth after this step. I personally think it's one of the best exfoliator out there in the market. Much better than CURE I feel which is very similar to this product. (Reviewed on CURE: here) It is light and gentle enough to be used daily, but I prefer to exfoliate every other day.

Step 2: Amethystory Mineral Bubble Face Wash (Cleanser)

SGD$14.90 - 160ml

It dispenses as a dallop of foam and I need about 2 pumps to sufficiently and adequately cover my face.

The foam is pretty creamy, but it is not as bouncy and fluffy as I thought and after lathering it on my face it turns out to be pretty runny and watery. The bubbles are not densely packed, I feel. Though it is not as densely packed and as smooth as the other bubble face wash that I have tried, it is pretty gentle on the skin and I feel that it cleanses the skin pretty well too. After cleansing, I do somewhat notice that it brightens my face slightly. It is also rather moisturising to the skin and it did not leave a tight feeling on the skin after wash. It has a nice scent to it too, which is always a plus point.

Step 3: Amethystory Mineral Aqua Whitening Enhancer (Toner)

SGD$19.90 - 150ml

I apply this directly after cleansing. I poured about 5 drops of the Amethystory Mineral Aqua Whitening Enhancer onto my palm and gently pat it onto my face.

This is pretty sticky at first but it is fully absorbed by the skin there after. It absorbs pretty well and quite quickly too.

Overall, I think Amethystory skincare range is worth a try. It is affordable and the products are good and effective. It is available exclusively at Watsons.

22ND

I celebrated my 22nd on the 1st of September 2011, roughly about a month ago. Had a lovely high tea buffet before ending the night with Lion King - The Musical. A quiet & simple, yet memorable birthday celebration. Thank you dear.

Love More's Aqua Cucumber Extract & Ceramide Moisturizing Mask (Blue) consist of 2 sheets, like other masks, the sheet mask itself and the plastic insert. It is so rich that it is dripping of its essence.

How Love More's Aqua Cucumber Extract & Ceramide Moisturizing Mask (Blue) looks like on me. It's so tight on me, I can't even force a slight smile, thus the expression. Haha, oh wells.

If I compare it to other masks that I have tested before, this particular mask is really thin. Like other Taiwanese masks, it is really rich of its essence. I like the fact that it fits my face like a glove and it sticks well onto my face. It is designed to fit the skin tightly because this will enable it to moisture the skin well.

I personally feel that my skin is much more moisturized after use and it is noticeably smoother and softer. The elasticity of the skin has also improved and I feel that the skin is much more supple.

Considering the before picture was with makeup and the after picture was without makeup, I can conclude that my skin texture has definitely improved because my blemishes can't be seen in the after picture even without using any makeup. I'm definitely recommending this mask to all. It is also very affordable at SG$11.90 for 7 in a pack and it is available exclusively at Watsons from 1st October 2011.

I was recently sent For Beloved One “Melasleep Whitening Bio-Cellulose Mask” for review purposes. It is definitely one of the most expensive masks I have tried up to date, retailing at SGD$63 (3pc/box) at Sephora Singapore.

For Beloved One is a popular Taiwanese cosmeceutical skincare brand and is well-known for its pioneering invention of the bio-cellulose mask, applying medical bio-fibers into the beauty field for the first time. The bio-cellulose mask has earned accolades and is praised by cosmetic surgeons and has received many acclamations from major media. It is also highly favored by many celebrities and experts such as Barbie Hsu, Annie Yi, and Niu Er.

So... I gave the mask a try after reading a million and one wonderful things about it. One thing I noticed after I ripped the mask packaging open is that he mask is sandwiched in between 2 plastic flaps.

The mask is really rich and full of its milky white essence.

How the mask looks on me.

One thing different about this mask as compared to the other masks that I have tried is that it is made from a jelly-like substance and not paper. Because of this, it allows the serum to penetrate into the skin more effectively. It also sticks really well onto my face, even without ear hooks.

I also like the fact that it covers my eye area too!

BEFORE: Slight blemishes here and there. Pretty noticeable dark circles around the eye area.

AFTER: The blemishes on my cheek have lightened significantly. The dark circles around my eye area have lightened too. My verdict is that the mask is definitely effective in whitening my skin and it makes the skin more supple and tender after use.

The mask can be re-used. After using it, store it in the refrigerator for the next use. I personally do not like reusing my masks, so I discarded it after one use.

I really like the instant results that I get after using this mask, but because of the hefty price tag, SGD$63 (3pc/box) at Sephora Singapore, I am still considering if it's worth a purchase.
