Sponsored review: Black Magic White Power Lifting Mask + 5 cm Neck Care Double Lifting Mask

I have done a review on Love More 3D masks not too long ago and was delighted when SECRETIVE SG contacted me for a product review on LOVE MORE latest 3D mask range.

Black Magic White Power Lifting Mask + 5 cm Neck Care Double Lifting Mask
Red Magic White Power Lifting Mask + 5 cm Neck Care Double Lifting Mask
Gold Magic White Power Lifting Mask + 5 cm Neck Care Double Lifting Mask

The latest Love More mask range have whitening properties and they have also extended the mask by 5cm! Basically this 3D mask not only whitens the face, it also provides an uplift for the area around the face and neck. Not only that, they also have an additional 50% of lotion based Q10, which will give your skin the well deserved treatment it needs!

I was asked to choose one out of the three and I chose the Black Magic White Power Lifting Mask + 5 cm Neck Care Double Lifting Mask.

From the info I obtained from the press release, the Black Magic White Power Lifting Mask is recommended to ladies who...
  • Loves spicy & fried food
  • Face certain level of stress from school/work/family
  • Sleeps late
  • Have enlarged pores, blackheads and clogged pores
Totally sounds like a mask for me! I was convinced to try it out as the Black Magic White Power Lifting Mask + 5 cm Neck Care Double Lifting Mask promises to whiten the skin from deep within and it will also remove the blackheads caused by clogged pores in the process.

Ingredients in the Black Magic White Power Lifting Mask are charcoal, black deep-sea algae, black currant, black pearls, and combining with hyaluronic acid, Q10 to result in a skin-friendly emulsion which work together to focus on whitening and penetrates deeply into your skin, and absorbs the whitening benefits fully into your skin!

The Black Magic White Power Lifting Mask cleans your pore, improves the blood circulation of your skin, and allows your skin to absorb the whitening essence better. When used twice a week, this Black Magic White Power Lifting Mask can protect and improve skin condition which is harmed and troubled due to external environment!

Here's me with the mask on...

I do feel the tightening effect on the neck and chin when worn. After removing the mask, my face do feel more hydrated and supple and I can see a noticeable difference in the appearance of my skin. My pores are less obvious and the shine of my face due to the oil secretion is eliminated.

If you are interested in Love More masks, they are available exclusively at selected Watsons Stores. They cost $13.90 for a box of 8 pieces. For more product information on Love More masks, you can visit www.secretive.sg

K-PALETTE: EYES ON YOU! WORKSHOP

A few weeks back, I attended a beauty blogger workshop organised by K-Palette! The workshop was held at Fika: Swedish Cafe & Bistro and I was really delighted because I have always loved the food at Fika (they are really delicious!) and I have previously blogged about this quaint little cafe a few times too!

For those of you who are interested to visit this cafe one day, here's the details of the cafe;
No.257 Beach Road / Arab Street (on the corner of Beach Road and Arab Street)
Reservation number: 63969096

The workshop was held at the 2nd floor of the cafe and I must say it was thoughtfully organised and well-planned. The 2nd floor is really spacious, good for private events!

The K-palette team was thoughtful enough and they gave everyone that attended a customised marshmellow door gift! Cute huh?

If that is not thoughtful enough, they even have a mini Canon booth where you can really camwhore to your heart's content and they will develop the pictures for you on the spot! Good way to kill time, haha.

After mingling with the other bloggers and after everyone has pretty much settled down, we were then treated to a makeup-demonstration by K-Palette's very own makeup artist which was flown in from Japan for this workshop!

We all learnt 2 methods of eye makeup:
A: Cat-eye look with the liner drawn upwards to create the "winged liner"
B: Kawaii look with a the liner drawn downward

Final look on the model.
Right: Look A
Left: Look B

Basically, the emphasis of Japanese makeup is all about making the eyes look really big to create that dolly/anime-like effect. They really pay a lot of attention to the fake lashes (really dramatic on that), eye brow & eye liner. The rest of the look is kept to the minimal; neutral, pastel shades like pinks & browns were used on the eyes, lips and cheeks.

After the makeup demonstration, lunch was served! Lunch was alright. I chose the chicken for my main.

I have never tried brown eyeliners / eyebrows before, so I decided to give these products a try! So far so good! Loving how brown eyeliners/brows look on me!

Bottom: Real Lasting Eyeliner 24hr in Deep Brown

Swatches of the above 2 products.

And here's a look that I have created using the above products.

I have tried a lot of eyeliners/eyebrows out there in the market and I personally feel that K-palette products are one of the better ones out there. Really worth a try if you ask me, since they are also very affordable and are readily available at all major retailers.

Garuda Padang Cuisine. I really recommend the ayam masak gulai. Just, lovely! I do not recommend the rendang. It's just horrible.

Le Bistro Parisien. French cuisine on a Friday. French food taste pretty bland. I had to add salt & pepper to my food. I had my virgin try at KOI too!

That's all for now! Enjoy July while it lasts lovelies! xx
