I was recently sent 2 of Ginvera's latest products which is the Aqua Whitening Cream (with Oil Control) & Green Tea Nude Cover BB Cream SPF30/PA++
I have tested them out, and here's my humble thoughts on each of the individual product.
Aqua Whitening Cream (with Oil Control)
The direction states that I am supposed to apply the cream after cleansing and toning. I did just that, and here's my thoughts on it.
The Aqua Whitening Cream has a non-greasy texture and it spreads and absorbs like a dream. Almost watery in nature I feel. After spreading, I do not feel any sticky or oily effect on the skin and it leaves a cooling sensation after, which is good! It works like a moisturizer and it has oil control too. I did the 3 step skincare routine: Cleanse, Tone & Moisturize before applying my everyday makeup. Since it states that it has oil control, I tested it out for a whole day out and personally, I feel that it makes my face oil faster than before. Quite disappointed at the oil-control, but as a moisturiser alone, it is a good product as it moisturizes my skin sufficiently.

Green Tea Nude Cover BB Cream SPF30/PA++
For review purposes, I applied the Green Tea Nude Cover BB Cream SPF30/PA++ right after I applied the Aqua Whitening Cream (with Oil Control)
This particular BB cream has a pretty watery texture and it very light on the skin as compared to other BB creams that I have tried. It is a bit too watery I feel because it drips everytime I want to use the product.
It is a yellow based BB cream so it might not be suitable for pink based skintones. The coverage is really light, as the name implies: "Nude Cover" and this is great if you already have great skin and is looking for something that has just a light coverage on your skin and comes with an SPF for sun protection. Like with all other BB creams, it only comes in one shade and thankfully the match on my skin is not too far off.
I did a test on my hands because I do have some freckles on my hands and it covers the freckles quite well, but it did not fully cover the freckles.
It definitely do not feel heavy on the skin because it is really light, but if you are looking for a foundation substitute, this might not be it because it barely covers the skin. At the very most, it works just like a tinted sunscreen I feel.
I am using both Ginvera Aqua Whitening Cream (with Oil Control) - as a moisturizer + Green Tea Nude Cover BB Cream SPF30/PA++ - as a tinted sunscreen in the pictures below. Eye makeup is by SANA which I featured in another blogpost here.
