As some of you may or may not heard, my baby brother, Abdul Aziz, have peacefully passed away in the early hours on Tuesday (27th July 2010 - malam Nisfu Syabaan).

He has always been my favourite and his passing has greatly affected me. He is always remembered & dearly missed.

Would appreciate your understanding during this difficult time. Do have him in your prayers always, al-fatihah. Amin.

Comes from a pet free / smoke free home. Slight light stains here and there (inside of bag, pen mark / bottom of bag, one dot) but nothing too obvious. No stains on the exterior of the bag. Very well maintained.

A few random thoughts

Random thought 1: I was out with Fir the other day & he wanted to get me something. It's supposed to be an extra special gift because it will be for my 21st birthday + 3 years anniversary. Fir has all along been an extremely generous bf but honestly, I do not need another something of... anything at all. We were hopping from one boutique to the other in town and I spotted something that I liked. Did a double take when the SA informed us of the price. I refuse refuse refuse refuse to pay or let him pay $X amount for bag X. Honestly, it's the price people pay for a well deserved vacation or a 2nd hand car man. =S

Random thought 2: I cringe every time I see this: FML. I cringe even further when I got to know that it stands for: FUCK MY LIFE. I really don't understand what's so cool about using FML repetitively over and over again. Is your life seriously that fucked up? Doubt so right.

Random thought 3: Does any one of you knows how to cook Butter Chicken (Indian style) gravy? I ate it at Melbourne, never got sick of it, and I am desperately trying to re-create the dish.

Melbourne Part II [29/06/2010 - 04/07/2010]

PART II OF MELBOURNE TRIP BELOW!

Fir suggested visiting Melbourne Zoo on Day 7. I was all geared up to check out Aussie wildlife because I especially love kangaroos & koalas. They are just very adorable in my opinion.

Day 7 outfit. Fir tried to scare me by saying, "Animals will attack when they see bright colours."

Melbourne Zoo is located somewhere near the city, so we have to head down to the city to take a tram to the Zoo.

Other mode of transport that is available in the city. I was pretty bummed that Fir & I did not have time to ride that horse carriage despite heading to town almost everyday. Oh wells.

Decided to have some hot choc first at the Zoo's cafe because it was drizzling.

I was being all touristy and I snapped pictures of EVERY animal. Here's some pictures that turn out well.

After visiting the Zoo, we headed to Melbourne Central for late lunch at Esteller. Ordered the same thing which I ordered previously, which was the beef bakso noodle.

Walked around Melbourne Central to bask in the night lights (got dark by 5pm or so) and to check out the stores there.

I ended up buying some accessories because they were on sale.

As you can tell, I love gold accessories. Never get sick of it.

The owl necklace that I got has an uncanny resemblance to this F21 piece. It's almost identical. I cannot spot the difference. Even the chain and the irisdescent jewels is the same. Peculiar. Hmm.

Made our way back home and had dinner at Cafe Student.

Day 8. It's Fir's graduation day today. Pictures credits to Zaki's DSLR.

SO DAMN HAPPY THAT FIR HAS FINALLY GRADUATED AND WE SURVIVED LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP. YAY!

After the ceremony, Fir & I headed to town to catch Dracula's; a comedy cabaret in the evening. Grabbed a quick bite at Lord of the Fries before the show.

Dracula's is definitely a great entertainment (too bad no photography allowed) and 3 course meal was served during the show too. For the price that we paid, it is really pretty affordable. (: Headed home there after as the it ended pretty late for a Melbourne winter's day.

Day 9. It's an early day (woke up at 630am) because we are heading to GREAT OCEAN ROAD! Had barely enough sleep because the night ended rather late yesterday but I was extremely excited for this trip.

Sans makeup because I was planning to sleep on the bus. HAHAHA. Okay I know I look like shit. Oh wells, if Fir doesn't mind, I shouldn't mind.

Woke up several hours later to the first pit stop. Was out of Melbourne & we past by Geelong, so it a pretty long drive. I do not know how long was the journey actually because I was asleep, so to be safe it is several hours later. :D

My hair was in a mess because it was so frikking windy!

Tea, lamingtons, crackers, vegemites and what have you-s.

The view is simply breathtaking to say the least. A summer holiday in one of those beach houses would be lovely.

One of the most memorable road trips ever. The view is simply breath-taking. The helicopter ride was the icing on the cake. Reached the City at about 8pm where we had our dinner.

I used the hair straightener to create the effect by straightening the hair inwards.

After shopping, we headed down to Chadstone for dinner where we met Fir's mates. Impromtu decision to head down to Charlston for karaoke night. Dumped all the shopping bags into 2 big bags. LOL.

Everyone on Facebook commented that Fir looks like Ed Cullen in this particular pic. Perhaps due to the fact that his skin looks ivory white here.

Most of the really enthusiastic singers are probably half drunk. LOL.

Day 11. Headed to DFO South Wharf for some late minute shopping.

Ended up with a shopping bag inside a shopping bag HAHA. Most of it are gifts for people.

Day 12. The last day in Melbourne. Didn't take any pictures because I was busy packing. I came with one luggage, went back with 4. I bought 2 foldable luggages along with me because I already forsee that it was going to happen. The birth of the luggages. LOL.

Only had a quick lunch with Fir before heading to the airport.

It was a memorable trip nonetheless and Fir & I really got to spend some quality time together. Realized I cannot live without him, clichéd, but very true. I took him for granted and realized things aren't the same when I got back because nobody does the things that he did for me except for him!

I love you so much, can't wait for you to be back for good this Friday. XOXO.
