I am turning this blog into a foodie galore, I know I know. Bad for the diet, good for the stomach! Teehee. Soooo gotta gym religiously every mid week, Wednesday & Thursday since I do not have school on both days to burn all those sinful indulgence.
On the 23rd of January, Saturday
Had a triple date with the lovelies and their men at Eatzi's Yishun Safra. It's our first time there, so we planned on a late lunch there to check the place and the food out.

Pretty menu + Printed serviettes

Hid & Zarir.

Me & Fir.

Rudy & Zee.

Soup of the day was Chicken noodle soup. I do not like this at all, very runny & very bland.

Garlic bread to go with the soup. I prefer it on it's own. It's just...okay.

The array of beverages. I ordered their iced lemon tea and I love it. Homemade, not too sweet, not too tangy either. Lovely. Their sodas in passionfruit & blue coral is okay, very sweet though.

Zee's breaded fish.

Rudy's NY sirloin in butter sauce, medium cooked.

Zarir's steak + fish combo.

Hid and Fir's chicken steak in mushroom sauce. Tasted a bit from Fir's, it tasted good.

I was in a mood for a thick slab of meat so I ordered their NZ ribeye, medium rare in brown sauce. I like my steak bloody. It's more tender. Well done ones tend to be really hard and too chewy.

Comes with a baked potato which I hated. The chicken bacon tasted like shit in my opinion. Fir thinks it's okay so he gobbled it down for me.

I love the dessert! Very smooth in texture it practically slide down my throat! Lovely.

(:

Group shot!
Fir & I left to meet Alia & Shidah in town to attend Kimberly's 21st birthday party while the rest went on with their own plans.

Bought this cute little puffed sleeves blouse at ZARA while waiting for the 2 girls.
Kim's party.

With the lovely girls,

Shidah.

& Alia.

The cake tasted so good! I am going to order from the same patisserie as hers for my 21st.

Birthday girl!

With the CCKsians that attended.
On the 27th of January, Wednesday
Fir and I decided to head down to Bugis Village since we have not been to that places in donkey years. Was in the mood for some cheapie deals (: Love. Thrifted. Buys!

With Fir (:
Had a quick lunch at Qi Ji.

I really like their popiah and their iced milk tea. Very savoury! Yum yum.

Wore out my new dress from New Look, a gift from Fir bought last week. (:
Super happy because I bought 5 affordably priced items :) 3 dresses and 2 tops. All less than $25 each. Tee hee hee. Most of BV stuff are priced at $10 each, but those items that I liked aren't $10. :( Booooooooooooo.
On the 28th of January, Thursday
This may some really really retarded to some, but Fir & I headed to Bugis Village again on 2 consecutive days because we cannot get enough of that place. HAHA. Joking la, we left early the day before and only recee the first lane but not the other lanes so we decided to check out Bugis again.
TOTALLY WENT CRAZY PLEASE ON THE 2ND DAY!

I got smart, decided to ONLY check out the $10 alleys because I am only willing to pay that much after the recee-ing done on the first day. HAHA. I ended up with 7 items on the 2nd day :) Cheapie cheapie deals.

Fir's matchy matchy tee (:

Wore out a long lace motif tee that I bought from my recent Cotton On purchase paired with a denim vest that I snagged at Bugis the day before.
On the 29th January 2010, Friday

Love love it. That new puffed sleeved top from Zara purchased days ago. Goes so well with that floral filigree of mine.
For dinner, we had another double date with Hazim & his girlfriend Aishah.

Had dinner and yet another new found place, Charcho's.
Charcho's is very much similar to Botak Jones, Western cuisine in the heartlands started by another brilliant ang moh. The food there is OMG SUPER DELISH PLEASE!

My mains, Rack of ribs with chips -their house specialty. One of the best lamb ribs I ever had. They tasted so good so good.

Fir order their Sampler plate where you can taste a little bit of everything on their menu. Good run for your money. Two types of chicken, rack of ribs, a choice of salad (he chose egg salad), and creamed potatoes. Sampled this one, but the chicken tasted so-so. A bit too dry for my liking. Their creamed potatoes and egg salad is very very delicious though.

Arwen & Hazim :)
Headed to Timbre after dinner for a chilling session.

Amusing read.

The other pair of lovebirdies.

Another great pizza, chicken + fajitas + pineapple.

Fir (:

Mine. Love that acid washed jeans + quilted bag.

Successful self timer shots (:

On the 30th of January, Saturday
Had a long long night the day before, woke up slightly later and followed Fir to Queensway. Bought some essentials like my monthly supply of contact lenses and also made a new pair of specs. Old pair is really old, it dates back to my JC days, thats like 2 years ago or so. I call it, the librarian looking specs. Geeky, I like. :D Collecting them this Wednesday.
Saw some Crocs ballet flats too and bought them!

CUTE! (:

With his HUGE BAG and tons of clothes inside for which he have sent for alterations at Queensway.
Pictures with and without flash vary greatly. Eek. Yellow lightings generally have that effect on pictures.

Into tops + jeans & tops + leggings combo plus flats for the feet this week. The sparkly sequinned tunic is one of the many thrifted purchases from Bugis. (: Saw something very similar at Forever 21 for 3x its price. =/
